Social Media & A Blog With Delaware Blogger

I headed toward Bear, Delaware this morning to attend the Delaware Blogger’s Social Media course. Route 301 south roads were dreadful, especially after the Route 302 intersection. I cannot believe the Department of Transportation had not salted or treated the snow-covered roads. My car was fan tailing and did a 360-degree spin. The skills that I had learned in defensive driving were put to use:  I handled my car like a professional driver.  However, I became nervous and anxious, and decided to return home. I never thought snow would slow down this adventurous chic—loving life.

I am disappointed, however, that I could not make it to the Bear Library to attend the Delaware Blogger Social Media and A Blog training seminar, as I have my struggles with social media. I was looking forward to sitting under the professional tutelage of Antoinette Blake, the Delaware Blogger—Social Media Maven. Ms. Blake makes Social Media Networking look so easy.  Needless to say, I am grateful to God for bringing me home safe.  I even stopped by Walmart’s in Bowie, Maryland to browse and to get in a little exercise time.  That is what I do when the weather is messy or I just need to get out of the house.  I go to the mall or shopping center and walk. You do not have to buy anything while walking and browsing, but I always do.
